For now there's a Davao cyber expo on July 25/26 (not yet sure on the exact date) at SM City Davao. This event has cosplay on it but it's not that big. Most of the people here will go costripping only.
One thing I do know is that there will me a Major cosplay event by the end of october. This event is called Mindanao Cosplay Summit 2009. Look out for that one.
